When terminating employment, the provisions of the General Equal Treatment Act (AGG) must be observed. Here are some important points:
Prohibitions of Discrimination: Employees may not be dismissed on grounds of discrimination as defined in Section 1 of the AGG. These include, for example, race, ethnic origin, gender, religion, disability, age, or sexual orientation.
